About a week ago I got an issue of Artists magazine, which had in it an article about Duane Keiser's, a painting a day, blog. Well, I'm so inspired! And I have now adopted the discipline as well. Since I quit my teaching job to become a full time painter, last year, my days have been somewhat amorphous. This painting a day is a serious deadline, painting with closure, sort of like a real job. It's purposeful, meaningful and by this time next year I'll be a much better painter. Here's to ya Duane!
